FP&A Reporting Model Enhancements

Upgraded existing FP&A Excel model to generate individual cost center reports containing actuals vs budget variances. A requirement is that the files must contain the transaction level actuals and budget data by cost account. The file will also serve as an input tool for cost center owners to supply their forecast of projected cost. The final file did not contain VBA code and the cost center owners were able to use it without any training.

Payroll to GL Mapping Tool

The finance department needed a tool for their payroll manager to map the bi-weekly payroll runs to their accounting system. I developed the model that took the payroll data and generated a balance journal entry that was ready to upload to their general ledger. The payroll manager was able to utilize the VBA tool with almost no training.
